Forum History
Over the past decade, we at AKJ Associates have established a reputation as market leaders for IT security-related events in Europe.
Since hosting the inaugural PCI Europe in June 2007, we have welcomed over 2500 delegates to 15 events across the world. To date we have visited no fewer than four different continents in major cities including Johannesburg, Dubai, Cairo, Paris, Milan, and Kiev. At the end of each year in December, senior payment card industry compliance and information security professionals from around the globe convene at our flagship event, PCI Europe, which for the past two years has been hosted at Brussels.
The PCI Mid-Year Meeting, will mark the first time we have hosted a PCI-related event in London.
From this success, PCI Europe and our regional PCI forums have built an established reputation for bringing together strategists, technical experts, and practictioners who are tasked with implementing PCI DSS and securing valuable data assets.
Our PCI events are recognised as being on the cutting-edge of compliance and security strategy, delivering critical advice and forward-looking insights on best practices in the payment card industry. We pride ourselves on keeping our events business-focused and value-driven, which is facilitated by our experience and close understanding of the market.

Inevitably, requirements to provide relevant and responsive data to internal and external parties will increase.
For those involved in managing e-discovery processes and strategies, it is clear that the issues and challenges inherent in producing targeted information are really just indicators of far wider problems.
At the root of these problems are the collision between business processes, commercial imperatives or requirements, and enterprise data sets.
This forum provides delegates with strategic and operational answers to the two central questions at the heart of e-discovery:
- How can challenges posed by the creation of, storage of, and need to retrieve data be met to ensure that information can be controlled and accessed in a way that meets relevant, and potentially conflicting, internal and external requirements?
- How can a solution reduce inherent business risks by taking into account information that is created now as well as in the future by existing and emerging technology platforms?

To maintain competitive advantage, commercial organisations will have no other choice but to turn to the online environment.
Those already doing business online will seek new ways to maximise profits from existing operations. Those entering the e-market for the first time will have to work hard to catch up with established rivals.
Brand impersonation, click fraud, domain-jacking, and web site traffic diversion divert revenue to illegitimate sales channels. This abuse of trust and customer loyalty directly impacts the bottom line, costing losses in sales and revenue.
Intellectual property risk management is no longer simply about registering patents and trademarks. This event provides information on approaches that market leaders are using to:
- Prioritise and focus their efforts
- Effectively respond to IP related fraud in the e-market place
- Achieve measurable results that demonstrate added value.
