Dr. Adrian R. Warman, Deputy Head of Security Operations, Ministry of Justice

Adrian is enjoying the third age of his career, having moved into the public sector by joining the Ministry of Justice in 2017. He applies specialist knowledge in organisational security operations, policy and culture to his current role within the MoJ Security Operations Centre. Generally, he prefers to avoid giving a “Computer Says No” response to security questions.... He is very much of the opinion that the goal of optimal cyber security is not just a technical problem - which is interesting because most cyber security problems have a technical origin.
Prior to becoming a Civil Servant, he worked in industry, including 17 years with IBM, and before that working in the telecommunications and retail banking sectors. He began his career as a University Lecturer, researching Information Systems and Computer Security.more
